关于中国潜在经济增速存在下滑趋势的讨论

近期关于中国经济存在下降趋势甚至会步入“中等收入陷阱”的讨论非常热烈。一种观点认为，当经济赶超型国家人均收入达到11000国际元之后，经济增速会出现明显回落，而我国正处于这样的增长阶段；另一种观点认为，我国正处在城市化的“中场休息”阶段，巨大的城市化潜力和后发优势还将使中国经济保持20年以上超过8％的增长。本文以总量平衡式的供给侧为研究角度，对上述问题做出分析和判断，重点分析我国近几年经济增速“异常”下降的原因，并提出政策建议。     

纸质媒体生存危机探析

在综合分析国内外报纸的生存现状调查资料的基础上,提出传统纸质媒体所面临的生存危机：受众的大量流失是其市场生存的最大危机,广告收入的下降及发行成本的上升促使其采取减少发行量和报纸涨价的无奈选择,由此可能进入受众流失——广告收入下降——减少发行量——报纸涨价——更多的受众流失的恶性循环。此外互联网、手机等新媒体的迅猛发展将加速传统纸质媒体的衰微。     

The role of veterinarians and feed-store vendors in the prescription and use of antibiotics on small dairy farms in rural Peru

This study aimed to describe and compare the role of veterinarians and feed-store vendors in the use of antibiotics on small dairy farms in Cajamarca, Peru, a major dairy-producing center characterized by small, rural farms with poor, mostly uneducated farmers. We used a purposive sampling strategy to recruit 12 veterinarians into 2 focus group discussions and supplemented these data with 8 semi-structured interviews with feed-store vendors. Participants reported that inappropriate antibiotic usage was widespread among their clients, which may prevent the efficient use of drugs on farms where animal disease can be devastating to the livelihood of the farmer. Participants also identified many barriers to appropriate prescribing and use, including availability of drugs, competition from other prescribers, economic constraints and habits of farmers, and limited farmer knowledge of drugs and disease. Veterinarians expressed mistrust toward nonprofessional prescribers, whereas feed-store vendors felt that veterinarians were important partners in promoting the health of their clients’ animals.     

When it comes to pay, do the thin win? The effect of weight on pay for men and women.

Cultivation theory suggests that society holds very different body standards for men versus women, and research indicates that the consequences of defying these social norms may not be linear. To test these notions in the employment context, we examined the relationship between weight and income and the degree to which the relationship varies by gender. For women, we theorized a negative weight–income relationship that is steepest at the thin end of the distribution. For men, we predicted a positive weight–income relationship until obesity, where it becomes negative. To test these hypotheses, we utilized 2 longitudinal studies, 1 German and 1 American. In Study 1, weight was measured over 2 time periods, and earnings were averaged over the subsequent 5 years. Study 2 was a multilevel study in which weight and earnings were within-individual variables observed over time, and gender was a between-individual variable. Results from the 2 studies generally support the hypotheses, even when examining within-individual changes in weight over time. (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2010 APA, all rights reserved)     

Does Second-Home Ownership Affect Primary Housing Demand?

Using American Housing Survey (AHS) data, this empirical paper suggests that if someone already has a second home, it may not affect their decision about the price of a new primary home, and they will not be likely to choose a cheaper one than their counterpart without a second home. This runs counter to the implicit suggestion of a previous study that second-home ownership may reduce the demand for primary housing. Many baby boomers have second homes and they have not yet locked up their current primary housing as the final home of their lifetime and may even trade up before they trade down. At present, except for continuous immigration, few other factors point toward growth in housing demand. Thus the finding here can be seen as good news for the housing market when it eventually recovers from its current downturn and crisis in mortgage lending.

本文从分析民办教育投资的背景出发，站在投资者的角度，对投资民办教育的收入和成本进行了分析和探讨。一是选题较新。目前对投资民办教育的收入、成本尚没有系统的分析，本文在此做了一个尝试，从投资者角度对民办教育这个行业所存在的收入、成本进行了一个较全面的分析。二是梳理出民办教育投资的收入和成本．提出了创收和控制成本的方法、措施，并引入企业的某些管理方法，进行了结合，作出了尝试性分析。

编制合并报表是集团公司对外披露财务信息的基础，在编制合并报表的过程中准确抵消内部交易事项及所涉及递延所得税的确认与计量是一项尤为重要的工作。本文对合并报销抵消项目以及递延所得税影响进行探讨。     

基于超块的激进执行模型可预测性分析

分析基于超块的激进执行模型中超块级预测可行性，给出满足超块级预测的预测器设计方案。对不同应用深度预测可行性高低、期望预测深度及其影响因素等进行论证。实验结果表明，大部分应用具有较高的期望预测深度，适合激进执行，但不同的应用期望深度相差较大。
